The Cool Farm Biodiversity Metric quantifies how well farm management supports biodiversity and helps exploring farms’ mitigation potential. The tool also includes modules for estimating greenhouse gas emissions and water use. This tool is widely applicable across Northern Europe, Eastern North America, Mediterranean Basin, California, Central Chile, Western South Africa and similar regions. For the other regions of the world, the actions and biodiversity objectives may differ.
